Exciting news on our effort to rebuild our corner of Paradise CA! We have completed the resealing of half of roads in Sherwood Forest Mobile Home Park in Paradise, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to creating a clean, safe, and affordable community for both current and future residents. This road improvement is just one of the many enhancements we have planned for our mobile home park.
The roads at Sherwood Forest Mobile Home Park were significantly damaged during the 2018 Camp Fire. Post-fire reconstruction included new utilities, which unfortunately further damaged the roads. Due to the high cost of road work, roads were left in the condition until now.
Since acquiring Sherwood Forest Mobile Home Park in April 2024, we have prioritized road improvement as it greatly impacts the quality of life for our residents. The bumpy roads not only made driving uncomfortable but also served as a constant reminder of the past devastation. It was important for us to fix this. We are committed to providing a high-quality and pleasant living environment. Even before closing on the mobile home park, we planned for the road improvement. When we closed on the park, we scheduled the road work.
In July, the hot weather allowed us to proceed with the roadwork. Our manager, Jason cleared the road of debris and weeds, preparing them for the sealing crew. The resealed roads now offer a smooth, attractive surface, significantly enhancing the park's appearance and driving experience. Jason was the property manager at Sherwood Forest during the Camp Fire. He helped many residents to evacuate on the very road that we resealed.
We are thrilled with this long-awaited improvement. We are dedicated to making many more enhancements in the future.
